Darren Deng is a lively musician who has a wide range of performing experiences. He started playing the piano at the age of 4 and since then, completed his Associate Diploma from the A.M.E.B (AMusA) and his Licentiate Diploma from the Trinity College of London (LTCL). Darren has worked closely with Peter Wang in piano pedagogy and performance.

Darren has been a major prize-winner in many eisteddfods, including Sydney McDonalds, Ryde, and Galston just to name a few. After many years of classical music training, Darren has also explored the wide repertoire of the Jazz world.

With his friendly character, Darren has been successful with young students and has helped many to achieve confidence on the piano and on the stage. Many of his students have achieved A+ results in their AMEB exam and are prize winners are eisteddfods. His students have also been admitted into the Rising Stars program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
