Emily's musical journey with the alto saxophone began in 2015, and since then, she has woven an impressive tapestry of performances and academic achievements in the world of music. Her dedication has seen her as a stalwart participant in numerous school bands, where she lent her talents to the Stage Band, the Wind Symphony, and the Saxophone Quartet during her high school years.

From 2020 to 2022, Emily played a key role in the Northern Youth Symphonic Wind, a community youth band where she flourished under the baton of the esteemed conductor Matthew Walmsley. Her technical proficiency and expressive playing culminated in a remarkable accomplishment. Her performance was especially lauded for her stylistic interpretation, showcasing maturity and depth in her musical repertoire.

In her academic pursuits, Emily's exceptional talent shone through with band 6 achievements in both Music 2 and Music Extension for the HSC. She distinguished herself through highly polished and artistic performances, embracing a diverse range of repertoire that reflected both her versatility and her nuanced understanding of the saxophone.

Her commitment to her craft and her students at our music school is not just a reflection of her skills but also her dedication to fostering a love for music in the next generation.
